Various combinations of region codes and plugs can often be confusing when planning on visiting a foreign country, especially if you've never been there before. These instructions have been specifically written to prevent you needing to worry if you'll be able to charge the Beats Pill abroad. When you are travelling to Slovakia these instructions show how to supply power to the Beats Pill by using their standard Type E or C Slovak 230 volt 50Hz plug outlets. If you are visiting Slovakia from another country make sure that the Beats Pill can be used with a 240 volt supply. If your Beats Pill was purchased in a country which uses a lower voltage (for example 110 volts) make sure that your Beats Pill is dual-voltage (marked with a 100-240 volt notation) else you may need to use an additional voltage converter to avoid the device from overloading whilst powering it.

These instructions show you how to connect to Beats Pill 2 speakers to the Slovak power outlet. Note that this page refers to the Beats Pill 2 and not the original Beats Pill first generation, visit the Beats page for the full range of Beats bluetooth speakers. Before connecting Beats Pill 2 speakers to anything we recommend downloading the latest Beats Pill 2 firmware update from the official Beats Pill support site [2] using the Beats updater tool.

Yes, you can connect a Beats Pill to a Slovak power outlet.

What is the best travel charger for recharging a Beats Pill in Slovakia?

If travelling with more than just your Beats Pill the best international travel adapter for Slovakia to buy is a multiple USB adapter which includes swappable plugs such as a 4 port USB travel charger [9]. There are two standards of wall outlets that Slovaks use (E and C) and using a power charger like this will ensure that you are covered for type C. As these chargers come with interchangeable pins and can handle from 100 to 240 volts will mean you can travel to multiple countries in Europe, Asia, North America and Africa simply by changing the heads. If your Beats Pill supports Fast Charge (please note not all USB devices can) then you'll benefit from faster recharging times with one of these types of travel chargers, and compatibility with certain power hungry devices.

Having a four port adapter means you can recharge multiple devices at the same time without needing to pack individual travel chargers or occupying additional power sockets. Because you are only needing a single lightweight travel charger will also keep the size and weight down, making it perfect to store in hand baggage and on hand for recharging your Beats Pill at an airport or on the flight. Due to their space saving flexibility these types of travel adapters can be used when you return home so when you're not travelling they can sit overnight charging multiple phones, tablets and e-readers with just a single power outlet.

We recommend buying this type of versatile power adapter online. The multipurpose power adapter illustrated is the 4 Port USB Wall Charger [9] which has been tested successfully for charging multiple USB devices in numerous countries around the world on a daily basis.
